Nelson's Family Campground has been owned and operated by the Gustine family since 1964. Located on 140 scenic acres in the heart of Connecticut, the campground is the ideal place to camp, relax and enjoy the outdoors. The physical amenities include a 60' in-ground swimming pool, a 2-acre pond for fishing and swimming, a 5,000 sq. ft. rec building, camp store, firewood, propane gas, ice, cable & TV hookups, picnic tables, laundromat, flush toilets and hot showers, mobile sanitary services ($), snack bar (weekends) and dump stations. Sites: Phase I (260 RV sites). Campsites have water, 30 amp metered electric, a dry-well for graywater, and receive once per week pumpout of holding tank (extra charge for more than once a week).
